MyEtherWallet (MEW) was the earliest Ethereum native wallet, launched in 2015, but by 2019 its experience had become fragmented. The product suite spanned WebApp, mobile wallet, browser extension, analytics, and marketing surfaces, each with inconsistent design patterns and no unifying system. Users trusted MEW as their gateway to Web3, but needed a simpler, more coherent way to interact with the Ethereum ecosystem.

Users trusted MEW as their gateway to Web3, but needed a simpler, more coherent way to interact with the Ethereum ecosystem.
The Approach
As product designer, I led UX architecture and design systems across the entire MEW product suite. I introduced the first unified design system, created reusable component libraries, and established a consistent visual language including dark mode, responsive layouts, and scalable iconography. My focus was on precision and craft: every flow, from onboarding to transaction confirmation, was reimagined for clarity, trust, and efficiency. I worked closely with engineers and executives, turning rapid prototypes into production ready interfaces that scaled across platforms.
